OnlineImageBlur is engineered around a strict local-processing architecture. We believe that your private photos and screenshots should never be transmitted across networks.
1. 100% Client-Side Local Processing
Our core software engine runs completely in your local browser sandbox. When you select or drop an image into the OnlineImageBlur canvas:
- The file is loaded directly from your device storage into local browser memory.
- The OCR engine runs local WebAssembly scripts to identify text coordinates.
- Pixelation is applied dynamically onto the canvas rendering layer.
No image data, pixel matrices, or file binaries are uploaded, sent, or saved to any external servers, third-party APIs, or databases.
2. Data We Collect and Why
To provide credit tracking and process payments securely, we collect and sync basic account profile details:
- Authentication details: Google profile email and/or SMS verified phone numbers cached securely via Firebase Auth.
We do not track or record your blurring behaviors, search phrases, or editing counts.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use standard browser local storage and cookies to maintain authenticated session tokens returned by Firebase, letting you remain logged in across page reloads. You can configure your browser to block cookies, but doing so will log you out of your account on reload.
4. Data Deletion Rights
You retain absolute control over your profile. If you wish to delete your account record and sync history from our MongoDB collection:
